Eco Committee
Pupils from Year 3 to Year 6 are chosen to represent their class on our school Eco-Committee. We meet regularly to discuss issues that affect our School and wider environment and work together to implement ideas to help. At the end of last year (July 2025) we were awarded with our second Green Flag! Look out for it flying proudly at the front of the school!
Here are some things that we have been working on:
- We have planted a fruit tree orchard in our school grounds
- We continue to use our established pen recycling area.
- We have improved the school grounds with wooden, musical instruments
- We have a curriculum that is rich in eco-related issues such as climate change, conservation, plastic pollution and staying healthy.
- We worked as a school to design a new Eco Code (please see below)
