NURSERY INFORMATION

SESSION TIMES

The Nursery offers two part-time sessions during the day:

             Morning Session:         9.00 - 11.30 am

             Afternoon Session:    12.45 - 3.15 pm

The nursery currently accommodates a staggered intake for the first 10 minutes of each session and then the doors are locked for security reasons.  However, we do expect children to arrive promptly as it helps teach them about the importance of being on time and we do not want them to miss out on any learning opportunities.  The beginning and end of the sessions are very important as we share and review ideas and learning.   

30 HOUR FREE CHILDCARE OFFER FOR WALES

The Welsh Government childcare offer will be available in all areas of the Vale of Glamorgan from Summer Term 2019. 

Applications open on 4 March 2019 for children who are eligible to start or are already attending Foundation Phased Nursery from 29 April 2019.

The offer is made up of 30 hours combined education and childcare and will be offered to eligible working parents of 3 and 4 year olds for up to 48 weeks of the year. You can find further information here

You will have opportunities to come in and experience a typical morning/afternoon session in Nursery.  A family member will be invited into Nursery to spend time playing with their child.
