We are pleased to welcome you and your child to our Evenlode family. Please find below all of the information you will need to help your child to settle into school at Evenlode. 

School Uniform 

The Evenlode School uniform consists of a light blue polo shirt, grey skirt or trousers and a burgundy jumper, cardigan or hoodie.  In the summer grey shorts and light blue gingham summer dresses can be worn.  Sensible and comfortable footwear should be worn, and we advise against open toed sandals.  For P.E. and Games children are to wear shorts or jogging bottoms with a t-shirt the same colour as their House (Ty Melyn - yellow, Ty Glas - blue, Ty Gwyrdd - green and Ty Coch - red). School uniform can be purchased from most supermarkets. A Class Apart in Dinas Powys sell school uniform with the Evenlode logo.

School Meals

All pupils are entitled to a free school meal, provided by The Big Fresh Catering Company. If your child has an allergy or dietary requirement, please email the school to request a ‘special diets’ form. This should be done as soon as possible to ensure your child receives the correct meals when they start with us. Please click here to see the current school menu.

Saplings Wraparound Care

Evenlode Primary provides wraparound care for pupils through Saplings, our childcare provision. This runs on the main site from 7:30am to 8:45am and from 3:30pm to 6:00pm. For more information about Saplings please click here.

Behaviour Blueprint

At Evenlode we have an established Relationships and Positive Behaviour Policy that all pupils, staff and parents follow. It sets out are clear expectations for everyone in our Evenlode family.   All pupils follow are 'Safe, Ready, Respectful' ethos across the school.
